If you show NMEA raw data dialog, messages in cyan are what qtVlm sends. See documentation for the other colors.

Other question that for me is another rather quizzical point whose fully grasp (by me) might be of great importance.
In the qtvlm NMEA settings / Outgoing there is the "Retransmit All" option and the Filter icon.
I miss the purpose of the Filter with the 2 options (Only this messages and Reject this messages)
Only this Messages seems to apply to the qtvlm output and that is OK with me (send only the sentences that match the list) but reject ? How that applies to the qtvlm output? To me it would be related to the input instead?
Let's assume (for the purpose of discussion) that the "Retransmit all" is unchecked (off) but I want to ralay out on qtvlm output an information received as input from another talker. Is there a way other than ask the Developer to include that specific sentence in qtvlm output?

Only will send only those in the list. Reject will send all except those in the list.

thank you!
so ... just to make sure ... if I check Retransmit_All and the I put a list in the filter "send only these" that would properly work?
Do I need to specify exactly the sender header in the list or just the NMEA sentence without the identifier of the sender?

Best is to leave "retransmit all" off. In that case qtVlm sends only WP related sentences

I don't think is an option for me. I have a hybrid network (raymarine + Silva Nexus). Both are "talker" but need to listen too from each other AND qtvlm as well.
So they would we connected as listener on the output 0 of the ACTISENSE NCD-4 where qtvlm outputs its stream.
